Over on another forum that I post on there is a pretty big deal going on right now about a 68 AMC Javelin Stock Car. The deal it that the owner which is editor of Hot Rod Magizine (David Freiburger) owns this thing and has offered to give it to anyone that wanted it. The guy that wanted lives in Boston. The big story is how it is being delievered. The forum members have came together and decided to relay trailer-to-trailer to deliver it from California to Boston. Here is the order of the legs that are being taking.
#1 Chad (CarJunkieChad) Burbank, CA - Ely
#2 Randal (TheSilverBuick) Ely - Denver, CO
#3 Dan (Bamfster) Denver, CO - Heartland Park Topeka, KS Wednesday
#4 Andy (67rs/ss) Heartland Park Topeka, KS - St. Louis, MO Thursday (Gateway/Madison, IL)
(MR4speed)
#5 Phil "Diesel" Cooper (457Brodix) St. Louis, MO to Indy Thursday
#6 Chris (tiresmoke!) Indy to Columbus (Sat AM)
#7 Neal (Nesabo) Columbus to Erie (Sat PM)
#8 Brian Lohnes Erie, PA - Boston, MA (Sunday)
Tony (Caveman)
Chris which is a good friend of mine is a part of this and needed a place to store it over night, so with me being a member of that forum and not being able to do much more we told him that he could keep it here at our shop for the night. it leaves for Ohio in the morning.
Here are a few pictures of this.
