In Extreme Street at Rockingham has there been any thought about the no wheelie bar rule. I know this is the rule originated in Limited street & if everyone is equipped with all the gizmo's it may or may not be a problem. After witnessing the ORCA race in Huntsville it could mean more a safety issue than a competition edge. I've seen a number of racers caught by surprise, on a conservative setup, and stand there cars on the bumper. A freak run that could easily put you out of the race & hopefully thats all. I like the rules but just have some safety concerns about this rule and this seems to be more with ladder bar cars. Some fuel for thought to an all Mopar class. Hope there is a good field at the Rock
Thanks
Vance

Jeff
We usually stay in Aberdeen less congessed & is left about 15 miles from track or right 10 miles to Rockingham they both have familiar named motels. See you at the Rock assume you are recovered enough to race?

thanks for the info Vance, I'll look into what's there. as far as me racing, I'll be lucky to race this year at all, I'm possibly going back to work the week after the Rock. the finances are just not there ,I should be at the remaining races helping fred b. with his car. It's been nearly 5 months out of work with this shoulder surgery, so i haven't had the dough to update or even freshen anything as needed. Hope to see ya there.

We at the PFSC realize that wheelie bars can be a safety issue. It's common practice however to keep them off small DOT tired cars. I've been racing Drag Radial for a long time. I've done my share of big wheelie's too. It's more of a challenge to fight the wheelie and therefore more competitive for the little guys. Wheelie bars ruin classes faster than anything. It's sad, but true. I've been in the heads-up street car game for several years, both as a racer, and promoter. I've seen both sides of the issue and would still rather run without the bars. Once you take away the wheelie, you take away the competition and the show. Don't expect wheelie bars in Xtreme anytime soon.

We have the pics of the Rock posted on the website now. Some of the action photos did not come out very well so the pics are limited. We do have a professional photographer coming out to Indy to take some pics. We will also be shooting video as well!
Thanks
